About Me

I discovered my love of scented candles through party plan a few years ago.  I then found myself spending hundreds of dollars a year on scented candles and thought there must be a cheaper way!  And there was.  I made my first candles a few months ago and it is so much cheaper and so much more satisfying to smell these beautiful candles and know that I had made them myself. I was also suprised at how relatively easy they are to make.

Hi Lauren, The main thing to remember is that temperature is the most "frosting" and it's quite difficult to fix, once it's happened. usually it is the temperature that your pour, then store your candles.
there is wax you can purchase that is supposed to inhibit frosting, but I don't worry about it too much.
Remember to warm up your jars closer to the temp of the wax you are pouring and try and keep them at a stable temperature.
In regards to the droplets on the top of the candle, that is due to too much fragrance oil/essential oil. Ease back on the fragrance.
Hope this helps.
