Part of the success of our business is knowing how to keep our customers happy. I know that our classes are great value but to be perceived as good value the clients need to know that they are not only getting that good value, but they are also having fun.
Yes, we do spend close to half and hour in the introduction but I think it is important that everyone understands the process of candle making. We discuss the temperatures, density, how the soy is hydrogenated, why we weigh the wax and the fragrance and of course we cover the safety aspects.
At the end of the day I want all my students to go home with their beautiful candles, tealights and melts. Candles that they have created in their choice of colour and fragrance and know that they can go home confident enough to continue their candle making.
We are always available for advice by email or by phone and many of our students have gone on to start their own businesses. Something I encourage.
